Loved the reading. The podcast was a nice and relaxed listen. For the subject matter, I think that shooting for half an hour would work really well.

I really liked it. I agree with Mckma that the time feels right. All in all very well done.

Loved the reading Cody. I like a serious Cody, although, I was waiting for the obligatory “frog snatch” comment. It never showed up and for a moment I felt a slight twinge of sadness. Oh well…

Seriously, I would subscribe to a Cody podcast in addition to my regular serving of RPPR and RPPR AP stuff. May I suggest the Blue Yeti USB microphone for your podcasting needs? I use a Blue Yeti and a high-end portable field recorder to record my gaming sessions. The Yeti is great…

Anyway, looking forward to more stuff.

  4. Hey Cody, there’s no download link! How am I supposed to save this and put it on my mp3 player?

Sorry! I’ll talk to Ross about fixing that.

Perhaps we can get an itunes feed? That would be lovely.

I’m also in favor of a longer format. Just saying.

I totally agree about Supergirl, Cody. The character has made a major turn around from her (re)creation years ago by Jeph Loeb. Sterling Gates has made her a fantastic character again that the fans really have taken to.

I am also looking forward to that Grant Morrison DVD. I need to buy it as soon as I can.

It was a good episode. But, and this is my personal thing, I think you should have someone with you to banter with or discuss things with.

For me even at pushing a half hour, listening to just one voice can be a bit boring…though the voices from the chapter reading were fun.

I suggest following the Nerdist podcast format at about an hour give or take, and having at leat one other person to tak with you, doesn’t even have to be the same person each time.

Joe – I kinda felt the same way. I need someone to bounce ideas off of, but I don’t have a sidekick like Ross does and Ross doesn’t read comic books so I can’t really talk to him about them.

    We’ll see.
